Several weeks ago, we received an email from an author who said his readers had directed him to our page, because the protagonist in his novel reminded them of Henry Cavill. The author was Logan Patricks and his novel is Semblance. I wish I knew who sent him, because it was a brilliant idea. Logan not only writes a romantic and intriguing story between his protagonist Shadow and the lovely narrator, Aria, but he has a wonderful website and fabulously fun social media sites.

Logan’s book Semblance, is the first in a series of books that are described as romance, but really fit into the category of romance, mystery and thriller all rolled into one amazing novel.

While the Guy Ritchie remake of The Man from U.N.C.L.E., starring Henry Cavill as Napoleon Solo and Armie Hammer as Ilya Kuryakin won’t be hitting theaters until January of 2015, we were lucky enough to catch up with Simona Caparrini, who plays an Italian Countess in the movie and ask her what Henry was like on set as well as talk about some of her other movies.

Here at Henry Cavill Org, we've had the great pleasure of meeting some incredible authors and reading some amazing books — all with our perfect hero in mind — Mr. Henry Cavill. Sometimes the authors have created their characters as the people came into their brains and others have pulled straight from Henry's image and personality to make their character pop. The latter is exactly what Melissa Brown did for her lovely book Unwanted Stars.

Over the past six months, I saw over and over again talk of Henry Cavill being the perfect ‘Alexander’ from the book, The Bronze Horseman. Author Paullina Simons wrote the epic romantic novel, The Bronze Horseman and followed it up with two more books, then wrote two prequels and a cookbook. After hearing it repeatedly and watching several fan made videos of The Bronze Horseman starring Henry Cavill, I decided I needed to check out the book. I cannot begin to describe how much I adored her Alexander and his love, Tatiana. I read the book every free moment I could find, and then promptly devoured the second two books in the series, Tatiana & Alexander and Summer Garden.

The Cold Light of Day, set and filmed entirely in Spain, was shot over ten weeks back in 2010 in the Community of Valencia and Madrid as well as several weeks on the stages at Ciudad de la Luz studios in Alicante. Mabrouk El-Mechri directed the project, starring Henry Cavill, Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver. The film was a US-Spanish production, and the majority of the cast and crew were Spanish and European. We had a chance to talk to local actor Jose Pedrosa, who was an extra in the opening airport scene. Pedrosa lives in Alicante and has been in several other movie productions in Spain.

Sometimes social media creates ripples of excitement about an anticipated book and sometimes it creates a tidal wave. A week ago, I watched a tidal wave roar through Twitter and Facebook with a new release titled, Interview with a Master by Australian author, Jason Luke. The romance community on Facebook was abuzz with the excitement of a new erotica book about to be released described as ‘BDSM erotica from a man's POV, written by a man’. Jason Luke describes the book as a work of fiction, but he has drawn heavily on encounters from his own real life.

For months, I’d been reading tweets talking about the hilarious and wonderful story Tangled by Emma Chase.

I was fortunate enough to receive a copy and the praise I had read was definitely well deserved. Emma Chase has written a funny, sweet, sometimes frustrating love story that will have you laughing and pulling your hair out. The book summary says it all.

Henry Cavill as the perfect book boyfriend has been a popular discussion on both our Twitter and Facebook page. During one of our discussions, author Jessica Lemmon told us that her inspiration for the character, Shane in her book Tempting the Billionaire was Henry Cavill.

As she shares it, Jessica Lemmon has always been a dreamer. At some point, she decided head-in-the-clouds thinking was childish, went out, and got herself a job... and then she got another one because that one was lousy. And when that one stopped being fulfilling, she went out and got another... and another. Soon it became apparent she'd only be truly happy doing what she loved. And since "eating potato chips" isn't a viable career, she opted to become a writer. Lucky for us, she has had success as a writer and wrote the wonderfully Henry Cavill inspired book, Tempting the Billionaire.

She was kind enough to fill us in on what Henry Cavill role inspired her to develop the character of Shane and what’s ahead for the book series. Exciting news accompanies this interview; Jessica Lemmon’s book Tempting the Billionaire is currently on the Top Romance Picks at Barnes & Noble.
