Elin Hörnfeldt was born in the north of Sweden where she learnt from photographing her sisters and friends how to direct images with the elements of location, styling, make up and hair. From an early age Elin expressed herself through artistic, creative work. Her interest in photography began at the age of nineteen. She learned photography on intuition by focusing, seeing and embracing the beauty of the person she was photographing. By learning to "read" light naturally by instantly visualising how it would look on the image. And by "hearing" how it sounded when the camera clicked.
After completing school in Sweden Elin studied photography for two years at Parson’s School of Design in Paris. Her first published work was for Vogue Paris in 2004. Elin still lives in Paris, and works with several clients including Max Factor and Dunhill.
