With Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice on the way, in the October issue, Total Film published an article called "The Dawn of DC" about the heroes of the DC universe, and brought an analytical study of the roles that each of these characters could play in the superhero team which will be presented to us in the Justice League movie. Besides of that, TF also takes a closer look at its trinity of heroes we will have in the Batman V Superman and their comic-book inspirations.

On Henry Cavill's Superman, they said: "The Man of Steel has been a member of the Justice League of America ever since they first teamed up in 1960 to defeat alien starfish Starro the Conqueror (The Brave And The Bold #28), even if he was too busy in outer spase to assist on that occasion. But will he be its leader in Zack Snyder's film?" Total Film asks. "Not if Batman has anything to do with it..."

Besides of that superhero review, TF also takes a closer look at its trinity of heroes we will have in the Batman v Superman and their comic-book inspirations, particularly, about Henry they said this: "Henry Cavill reprises his role in this sort-of-sequel, now balancing a double life as mild-mannered journo Clark Kent and Kryptonian crimefighter Superman. He's also faced with the new threat of his soon-to-be arch-nemesis Lex Luthor, a power-mad business magnate bent on eliminating the Man Of Steel. According to Snyder, Cavill is much more comfortable in the red-and-blue suit this time around... 'We've both created this guy and we can push him around a little bit,' he says. 'The more time I spend with Henry, the more he is Superman to me.'"
