17 Jul Henry Cavill as Superman on the Cover of Magazines Worldwide - 2

Category: Interviews & Magazines Discussion:

While we still have a couple of days before Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder will attend Superman's 75th Anniversary Celebration panel at Comic-Con in San Diego, it's time for another review of magazines from around the world who published articles about Henry's new movie, Man of Steel (you may see our earlier reviews here and here).

Best Movie (Italy)

In the June issue of Italian Best Movie magazine we can find a large article devoted the Man of Steel with a few movie stills as well as the interviews with Henry Cavill and Michael Shannon.

Thanks to our fan Elisa for the scans!

Empire Magazine (Italy)

Here's another Italian magazine. Henry Cavill graces the cover, plus  there is a large Man of Steel movie still with Kal-El inside, and a brief review for the movie.

Thanks to Elisa for the scans again!

Acine (Colombia)

The June issue of Acine magazine features Henry Cavill as Kal-El/Superman on the cover, plus a brief review of Man of Steel in Spanish with movie stills inside.

FanComplex (Costa Rica)

The June issue of this magazine has a detailed article about the Man of Steel movie, plus posters and a couple of articles about Superman as well.

S.K.I.P. Forward (Austria)

In the June issue of this magazine in German you will find a good article about the Man of Steel and a few words about director Zack Snyder, as well as many stills of the new film.

Star Inc. (France)

While the June issue of the French Star Inc. magazine doesn't have Henry on the cover, it has some excellent articles inside. In an interview with Henry Cavill, he talks about how he felt when he put on the Superman suit the first time; about his little nephew, who bragged at school that his uncle is Superman; about his exhausting training; and the roles that he missed out on. Also in this magazine a small review of the Man of Steel movie and a few words from director Zack Snyder.

Mad Movies (France)

Finally, another magazine in French. The July special issue of Mad Movies is dedicated to the superheroes in the movie and will attract your attention with Henry Cavill as Superman on the cover. However, the contents of the magazine will disappoint you if Henry is your only reason to buy it: there is only one small picture from Man of Steel inside and nothing more. If you want to know more about the history of superheroes in cinema in general, than you will not be disappointed.
