Henry Cavill News
In the October issue, Empire Magazine has published the first two official images for the upcoming movie The Man From U.N.C.L.E. directed by Guy Ritchie. The two lead roles of the American and Russian super spies Napoleon Solo and Ilya Kuryakin are portrayed by Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer, respectively.
Warner Bros announced that Guy Ritchie's The Man from U.N.C.L.E., starring Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer, has been pushed back by a whopping eight months. Initially this film had been scheduled for January 2015. Warner Bros will now release The Man from U.N.C.L.E. on August 14th 2015 (in the US anyway).
Continuing his philanthropic activities, particularly being the ambassador for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF), Henry Cavill is going to take part in the celebration of the 350th anniversary of the Royal Marines, to be held 24-27 October 2014 in Gibraltar. The event is on behalf of the RMCTF who are there to support injured and wounded Royal Marines through their Recovery Pathways.
On 6th August, Henry Cavill visited Durrell Wildlife Park on his home island of Jersey, CI, to meet Lee Durrell and the team of Wildlife Conservation Trust, an international charity working globally to save species from extinction. To help support the organization, Henry has launched the website www.cavillconservation.com. On it, Henry explains his support: “I’m enormously proud to be part of a team that makes such a huge positive impact on the world. Durrell is an organisation with a mission I can really get behind. I feel that saving the diversity of life on our planet will be seen as increasingly important in the not-too-distant future. I genuinely believe that Durrell provide hope for those endangered animals that others may…
BREAKING NEWS: Henry Cavill's new movie, the Man of Steel sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice directed by Zack Snyder, will be released on March 25, 2016, instead of May 6, 2016, as was previously announced. While the major Hollywood tabloids are speculating about whether or not Warner Bros. stepped down in the face of the new Captain America movie being released on the same day, slating the film in the period when there is no competition, we are happy about the earlier release date. After all, we get the movie in a month and a half less than originally planned.
Henry Cavill took a break from filming his new movie Batman V Superman not only to re-shoot some scenes for The Man From U.N.C.L.E. in London, but also to come to his home island of Jersey to work for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. Before Jersey was made famous by Henry Cavill, the new actor playing Superman, this small island has been home to the Durrell Wildlife Park (operated by the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust), founded by British author and naturalist Gerald Durrell, where rare and endangered species of animals inhabit the land. It seems that Henry was being filmed by PBS Media today potentially for a movie/documentary about the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
Ever since Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice was unexpectedly announced at last year's Comic-Con, we expected that Zack Snyder would have some sort of a tease at this year's SDCC. And at the end of the day we got even more than expected!
Here it is! Finally, the first official promo image of Superman playing by Henry Cavill in the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice move has been released.
Here's the first image of Henry Cavill as Clark Kent from the Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice film set, for which we should say thank you to our friends at Royal Marine 1664 Challenge! They even don't imagine all significance of the picture they took, when we asked them a photo of Henry with this T-shirt. For what? UPD: We added one more photo with back view of black T-shirt and one photo of white T-shirt!
The new Zack Snyder movie Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, in which Henry Cavill plays the role of Clark Kent/Superman, has been filming these days in Detroit. Although we still don't have any photos of Henry working on the set, we have a few shots of what is happening now on the streets of Detroit, which turns out to be filming locations for Metropolis and Gotham City for the next few months.
