Henry Cavill has been cast in Paramount’s upcoming sequel Mission: Impossible 6. Director Christopher McQuarrie subtly made the announcement on Instagram that Henry will be appearing in the next installment of the Tom Cruise-led franchise.

Christopher McQuarrie asked Henry Cavill if he wants to join the MI6 cast in an Instagram post that read, “Say, @henrycavill. Had a thought. Curious if you’re interested in a role in the 6th installment of Mission: Impossible. No pressure.”

Henry Cavill has accepted an entirely possible mission by responding in the comments, “How can I say no to a man with such perfect hair…..”

In a short series of back-and-forth tagging, Christopher McQuarrie made sure Henry was privy to what was required of him in joining the Tom Cruise-starring franchise.

“@henrycavill excellent. Just a few caveats: must enjoy extreme heights, high speeds, motor vehicles of all varieties (especially aircraft), practical stunts, firearms, and sporadic exposition. All good?”

“@christophermcquarrie only if I get to fly for real.”

“@henrycavill I do believe I specified practical stunts. You in?”

“Oh ok…..I’m in!” Henry replied.

The director then capped off the convo in a Mission:Impossible-esque fashion. “@henrycavill Outstanding. Welcome aboard. Your social media account will self destruct in 5 seconds.”

No details about the role were provided.

“Mission: Impossible 6” is due to hit theaters July 27, 2018, and is expected to go into production soon. Tom Cruise will again be producing alongside Skydance Productions’ David Ellison and Dana Goldberg Bad Robot’s J.J. Abrams. Filming is expected to happen in France, New Zealand & the UK.
